Mind-Body Bridging  Found Effective for People with Sleep Problems
In a recent research project conducted at the SLCVA Medical center that addressed people with sleep problems, it was found that Mind-Body Bridging techniques were very effective.  All the participants were placed in two groups.  One group was taught Mind-Body Bridging techniques by and Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the other group was  given Sleep Hygiene  by a Board Certified Internist.  The results  using the MOS Sleep Scale showed a greater improvement in sleep post the treatments for those who used Mind-Body Bridging as compared to those who were treated in the conventional way for sleep problems.
This study and its results are to be submitted for publishing in the near future.  This is great news for all  who suffer from sleep problems as Mind-Body Bridging is a simple, drug free and yet a very effective method to induce sleep.

What was also discovered was that those who also suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder along with their sleep disorder showed remarkable improvement in their PTSD.

Congratulations are in order for Derrick R. Tollefson, Kevin Webb, Dirk Shumway, Stanley H. Block and Yoshio Nakamura.
Their article “A Mind-Body Approach to Domestic Violence Perpetrator Treatment: Program Overviews and Preliminary Outcomes” has been published in the Journal of Aggressiveness, Maltreatment & Trauma vol. 18, 17-45, 2009.  This article reports upon a study conducted in a rural state-sponsored domestic violence offender program in use of Mind-Body Bridging in domestic violence to help clients overcome their abusive behavior.
The successful results of this study are evidenced based proof of the effectiveness in use of Mind-Body Bridging as compared to the conventional methods now popularly used for offenders of domestic violence. This article is well worth the reading.

Got to Research for the abstract and information on this article
